January 11 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia has started the operation of a service linking Cologne Bonn airport to the Konstantin Veliki Airport in Nis last week, the Cologne Bonn Airport said.
The company will serve the route with an Airbus A319 aircraft twice a week - on Thursday and Saturday, the Cologne Bonn Airport said in a statement last week.
"We are delighted to welcome Air Serbia, another new airline partner to our airport, which is introducing Nis, an exciting new destination to our schedule," Cologne Bonn Airport managing director Torsten Schrank said in the statement.
Last month, Air Serbia said it plans to launch in January flights linking Nis airport to Belgrade, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Cologne, and Ljubljana.
