July 14 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Serbia has launched seasonal flights linking Kraljevo to Greece's Thessaloniki on July 13, it said.
Air Serbia will operate the service once a week, on Tuesday, in the period until August 24, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
"We are glad that we have expanded our offer even on our third airport in the country. We are particularly glad that we will make it easier for passengers from the West Serbia and Sumadija regions to travel to one of their favourite destinations in Greece during vacation season," head of sales Bosko Rapic said.
Air Serbia will operate the flights with an ATR72 turboprop aircraft.
The company initially intended to launch Kraljevo-Thessaloniki flights last year, but its plans were suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
