June 17 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Air Albania said that it will resume regular flights next week, with the first one to be operated to Turkey's Istanbul on June 22.
Air Albania is resuming all regular flights based on bilateral agreements with the corresponding countries, it said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
On Monday, Tirana International Airport announced the resumption of flights to and from Austria's Vienna, Serbia's Belgrade, Germany's Frankfurt and Greece's Athens.
The airport in Albania's capital welcomed the first charter flight after the relaxation of coronavirus restrictions on June 12. The flight from Minsk was operated by Belarusian airline Belavia.
