February 7 (SeeNews) - The Romanian subsidiary of European health-care services firm Affidea said it has has acquired three clinics located in the northeastern city in Suceava from local peer Explora.
This acquisition brings the total number of Affidea's multidisciplinary clinics in Romania to 53, Affidea Romania said in a press release on Tuesday.

The value of the transaction remained undisclosed.
With an annual patient portfolio exceeding 40,000 people, the Explora clinics in Suceava offer a range of medical imaging services including MRI, CT scans, radiography, 3D and 4D ultrasound, as well as specialist consultations in cardiology, gynecology, neurology, pediatrics, orthopedics, and dermatology.
Affidea Romania also said it plans to continue its expansion throughout 2024.
Established in 1991, Affidea Group has since expanded to 15 countries with 315 centres, according to its website. Affidea entered Romania in 2002.
