BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 29 (SeeNews) – Vienna-based Adriatic Group is planning to invest 5 million euro ($5.6 million) in strengthening the agricultural sector and processing facilities in Bosnia's entity, the Serb Republic, its ministry for regional cooperation said on Monday.
So far, companies in the Adriatic Group have directed 3 million euro towards this cause and are now set on expanding their network in Bosnia's smaller entity, the ministry for regional cooperation said in a press release following a meeting with the company's director Amir Bekic.
Adriatic Group, apart from being a strategic export partner of all the leading food industries in Bosnia, owns two fruit processing factories in the municipalities of Bijeljina and Zvornik.
It is one of the leading companies in charge of the distribution of food products from the Western Balkans to the markets of the EU.
