PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 1 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin state-controlled wine producer 13 Jul-Plantaze [MNG:PLAP] led the blue-chip gainers on the Montenegrin stock exchange in July, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed July at 809.42 points, down 0.02% month-on-month.
The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, closed flat in July, at 11,037.86 points.
13 Jul-Plantaze rose the most among the blue chips in July, adding 12.99% month-on-month to 0.1092 euro, as 81,513 of its shares changed hands in 14 transactions. The company generated a share turnover of 8,900 euro.
Port operator Luka Bar [MNG:LUBA] paced the blue-chip decliners in July, as its share price fell 6.31% on the month to 0.2048 euro. A total of 7,715 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1,580 euro.
Тhe bourse's total turnover rose in July to 1.18 million euro ($1.3 million) from 1.1 million euro a month earlier.
A total of 218 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in July, versus 197 in June. Stock market capitalisation was 3.479 billion euro at the end of July, up from 3.477 billion euro a month earlier.
