Sofia bourse indices end mixed, Neochim leads SOFIX decliners

February 9 (SeeNews) - Three of the five indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) advanced on Friday, while the blue-chip SOFIX lost 0.04% to 781.02 points, bourse data showed.

SOFIX's performance was impacted by a 6.44% drop in fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] to 21.80 levs and a 2.90% decline in First Investment Bank, or Fibank, [BUL:FIB] to 2.68 levs.

Neochim also pressed the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index ended the session 0.08% lower at 802.18 points, further set back by hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:MSH], which slipped 1.80% to 10.90 levs.

Meanwhile, the broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, climbed by 0.06% to 161.99 points. It was pushed up by a 6.93% jump in cables manufacturer Emka [BUL:EMKA] to 2.16 levs and a 3.40% rise in online betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] to 15.20 levs.

Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF], which grew by 1.56% to 2.60 levs, and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER], which added 0.30% to 3.34 levs, buoyed the BGREIT. The index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, went up 0.39% to 189.86 points.

Finally, the BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, gained 1.93% to 98.97 points. It was spurred on by an 11.23% surge in electric vehicle manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] to 0.525 levs and an 8.33% leap in Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON] to 2.60 levs.

Total turnover on the main market of the BSE slid to 442,621 levs ($243,780/226,308 euro) on Friday from 708,155 levs on Thursday.

IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] was the day's top stock by turnover, generating 133,842 levs as 2,284 shares changed hands. The company closed flat at 58.60 levs.
