ZAGREB (Croatia), February 19 (SeeNews) - The Croatian financial regulator said on Thursday that it approved the acquisition of local insurers Velebit Osiguranje and Velebit Zivotno Osiguranje by Slovenia's leading reinsurer Pozavarovalnica Sava. Pozavarovalnica Sava will acquire stakes of over 50% in Velebit Osiguranje and in Velebit Zivotno Osiguranje, the Croatian Agency for Supervision of Financial Services (HANFA) said in a statement. It did not disclose the price of thre two deals.
