October 2 (SeeNews) - Montenegro is expected to become the first Western Balkans country to join the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) on January 1, 2025, with Albania and North Macedonia to follow shortly, Gert Jan Koopman, director general of the European Commission's enlargement directorate, was quoted as saying by regional media.
