Greece posts EU's sharpest annual consumer prices decline in Sept - Eurostat

Slovenia and Croatia also reported a drop in consumer prices in the ninth month of 2020, by 0.7% and 0.3% on the year, respectively, Eurostat said in a statement last week.

Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, Bulgaria reported an annual inflation rate of 0.6% in the month under review, above the EU average annual inflation rate of 0.3%.

Among EU member states in SEE, Romania had the highest inflation rate in September, of 2.1%, which is the fourth-highest rate in the EU-27 group.
