May 4 (SeeNews) - Greece reported the second-highest seasonally-adjusted jobless rate in the EU in March, at 10.9%, preceded only by Spain with 12.8%, Eurostat said.
In contrast, Slovenia recorded the lowest unemployment rate among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) in the review month, at 3.2%, the EU's statistical office said in a monthly data release on Wednesday.
Elsewhere in SEE, Croatia was the only other EU member state to post a jobless rate above the bloc's average of 6%, at 6.2%.
All countries in the SEE region registered annual decreases in their unemployment rates in March, with Greece marking the most significant one, at 1.8 percentage points.
