December 13 (SeeNews) - Greece posted the highest annual industrial output increase in the EU in October, at 10.8%, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
At 6%, Greece also registered the EU's highest monthly jump in industrial production in the review month, against an average EU fall of 0.5%, the bloc's statistical office said in a monthly report.
In comparison, Bulgaria recorded the steepest annual decline in industrial output among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), at 5.4%. In the EU overall, industrial output went down 5.5% year-on-year in October.
Elsewhere in SEE, Croatia's industrial production marked the largest monthly fall in the region, at 1.4%.
