SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 29 (SeeNews) - Greece and Bulgaria were the top two countries among all EU members, with the highest share of their population in arrears with mortgage, rent, utility bills or hire purchase payments in 2016, the bloc's statistical office said.
Almost half (47.9%) the population in Greece were in arrears, followed by Bulgaria with 34.2%, Eurostat said in a statement on Monday.
