February 5 (SeeNews) - Greece, Bulgaria and Romania posted the highest annual increases in industrial producer prices among EU member states in December, Eurostat said.
Greece led the list of EU member states, which have reported an increase, with a 4.7% rise in industrial producer prices in December, Eurostat said in a news release on Tuesday.
Bulgaria and Romania followed with a rise of 4.5% and 4.4% in their industrial producer prices, respectively.
On a monthly comparison basis, Bulgaria's industrial producer prices were flat in December and Romania's rose by 0.5%.
Greece's industrial producer prices increased by 0.4% month-on-month in December.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe (SEE), Croatia's industrial producer prices rose by 1.5% year-on-year and was unchanged compared to the previous month, while Slovenia's advanced 2.1% on the year and edged up 0.1% month-on-month.
On average, industrial producer prices in EU-28 were stable in December, with no changes on both annual and monthly comparison basis.
