May 8 (SeeNews) - Croatia’s Koncar – Engineering (KET), a unit of electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI], said on Monday it has successfully completed the overhaul of hydro power plant Vacha-1 in Bulgaria.
The revitalisation of the hydropower plant started in August 2019 and was carried out in rather demanding conditions due to the pandemic, KET said on its Linkedin profile.

According to a press release of the Bulgarian national electricity company NEK, it signed a deal for the rehabilitation of Vacha-1 HPP 110kV switchyard and other systems of integrated control with a consortium of KET and Czech holding company CKD Blansko on August 27, 2019.
Koncar Elektroindustrija's shares traded 0.78% lower, at 128 euro ($141) intraday on Monday on the Zagreb bourse.
Koncar Elektroindustrija is the parent company of Koncar Group, which offers turnkey construction of power plants, manufactures transformers, generators, motors, switchgear and other equipment for power generation, transmission and distribution, as well as tramcars, electric multiple units, railway plants and accompanying equipment and systems.
