April 25 (SeeNews) - Croatia and Slovenia had the lowest share of early school leavers among all EU member states in 2017, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
In Croatia early school leavers accounted for 3.1% of people aged between 18 and 34 with at most lower secondary education in 2017, Eurostat said in a statement. It was followed by Slovenia with 4.3%.
At the opposite end of the ranking, Romania posted the third highest share of early school leavers, of 18.1%, while Bulgaria was fifth with 12.7%.
Romania had the EU's lowest share of persons aged 30 to 34 who have completed tertiary education - 26.3%, while Croatia recorded the third lowest share - of 28.7%.
