February 21 (SeeNews) - Electric car rental service Ride Share Bulgaria, operating under the Spark brand, said on Tuesday that it added 100 Dacia Spring electric vehicles (EVs) to its fleet.
Following the expansion, the company's EV fleet now totals 650 cars, Spark said in a Facebook post.
Dacia Spring can travel between 150 and 200 kilometres on a single charge, Spark said on its website. The vehicles will be offered at the low end of the rental service's price range.
Last month, Spark partnered with French energy management and automation corporation Schneider Electric to launch an EV rental zone with five charging stations at the French company's smart factory in Plovdiv.
Ride Share Bulgaria, established in 2017, is owned by Lithuania-based Spark Technologies. The company's services are located in Sofia and Plovdiv and its car fleet comprises 13 EV models.
