May 11 (SeeNews) - Sofia Public Electrical Transport Company said on Monday that it has signed a 37.3 million levs ($20.7 million/19.1 million euro) agreement to purchase 30 trolleybuses from Czech Republic's Skoda Electric.
The project benefits from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020, Sofia's public transport company said in a notice.
The deal was inked on May 5, according to the notice.
Skoda Electric submitted the sole bid in the tender for the contract.
