December 27 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) opened the trading week in green territory, as petroleum and fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] lead the blue-chip risers, bourse data showed.
Petrol's shares ended 3.04% higher at 508 euro on Monday, generating a turnover of 359,976 euro, LJSE data showed.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was the sole decliner among the members of the two stock indices, with shares going down 0.71% to 55.60 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index went up 1.62% to a closing value of 1,257.30 points. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, gained 1.61% and closed at 1,476.83 points.
The bourse's daily trading turnover rose to 1.95 million euro ($2.2 million) on Monday from 1 million euro generated the previous trading day.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] was the most traded stock on the bourse, generating a turnover of 738,216 euro. NLB's shares closed 2.16% higher at 75.80 euro.
