July 31 (SeeNews) - Kosovo's hotel operator Royal plans to build a five-star hotel in Montenegro’s coastal town of Ulcinj that would trade under a Hilton brand, the Montenegrin government said.
The U.S.-headquartered multinational hospitality chain recognises the potential of Montenegro for the development of its business, the government quoted Hilton vice president Dominique Piquemal as saying in a press release last week.
In April, Montenegro's director of the public enterprise for marine management, Mladen Mikijelj, signed a contract with the director of Royal, Arber Kryeziu, granting it the right to build a hotel worth 40 million euro ($44.1 million) at the site of the former Jadran hotel in Ulcinj, local news outlet eKapija reported earlier.
