BELGRADE (Serbia), December 16 (SeeNews) – Hungarian oil and gas company MOL plans to launch a project for installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers at its filling stations across Serbia in 2020, the Serbian infrastructure ministry has said.
MOL will contribute to expanding the network of electric chargers on highways in Serbia as of next year, the Serbian infrastructure ministry said in a statement on Friday.
"We are very keen to have our highways enriched with additional facilities, including the development of an electric charger network," infrastructure minister Zorana Mihajlovic said during a meeting with representatives of MOL in Belgrade.
Last month, Serbia opened for traffic the entire motorway section of pan-European Corridor X linking Hungary to Bulgaria via Belgrade and Nis.
