ZAGREB (Croatia), July 30 (SeeNews) – Croatian holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] reported a consolidated net profit of 54.2 million kuna ($8.6 million/7.2 million euro) for the first half of 2021, compared to a net loss of 45.4 million kuna for the same period of last year.
The company's consolidated revenue reached 2.48 billion kuna, up 16% on the year, Adris said in a consolidated unaudited report for the first six months of 2021 filed to the Zagreb bourse on Thursday.
Consolidated sales revenue rose 17% on the year to 2.24 billion kuna in the period under review.
Consolidated EBIT totalled 357 million kuna, up 31% year-on-year. In Adris' tourism division, sales revenue rose 138% on the year to 283 million kuna.
Insurer Croatia Osiguranje, which is part of Adris group, reported a net profit of 209 million kuna, up 2% on the year, supported by a 7% increase of consolidated gross written premium, to 1.995 billion kuna.
Another unit of Adris, fish breeding company Cromaris, reported EBITDA of 33 million kuna, up 23% on the year.
The ordinary shares of Adris [ZSE:ADRS] closed 0.85% higher at 472 kuna on the Zagreb bourse on Thursday.
The preferred shares of Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] traded 0.94% lower on Friday morning, at 420 kuna. On Thursday, they rose 2.42% to 424 kuna.
