BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 25 (SeeNews) – China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is interested in investing in infrastructure projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Southeast European country's Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) said.
CSCEC is looking at the construction of roads, bridges, airports and ports, while also mulling energy related projects, FIPA said in a statement on Tuesday, following a meeting with a delegation of the Chinese company.
CSCEC is one of the largest investment and construction companies in the world operating in 129 countries. It employs some 300,000 people.
After the company has picked a project in Bosnia, FIPA said it will organise meetings with the project stakeholders.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two entities - the Serb Republic and the Federation.
