October 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Public Transport Ruse said on Thursday that it has signed a 22 million levs ($13.2 million/11.2 million euro) contract for the purchase of 20 electric buses and the necessary charging stations with local company Biofrog CZ.
The contract was signed on September 23 following a tender which attracted two valid bids, the public transport company said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The project will benefit from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
Biofrog CZ is 100%-owned by Czech citizen Emil Kimak, according to registry agency data.
