October 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power plant equipment maintenance company Atomenergoremont [BUL:ATOM] said on Thursday that its net profit rose to 12.2 million levs ($6.25 million/6.2 million euro) in the first nine months of 2022 from 9.6 million levs a year earlier on the back of a revenue rise of 40.5%.
The company's total revenue increased to 47.6 million levs in the January-September period from 33.9 million levs in the like period of 2021, Atomenergoremont said in an interim financial statement last week.
The revenue from sales of services, which makes up 99% of the total sum, rose to 41.7 million levs from 30.9 million levs in the first nine months of last year.
During the review period, Atomenergoremont's operating expenses went up to 32.8 million levs from 23.85 million levs in January-September 2021.
The company's assets amounted to 240.4 million levs at the end of September, up from 230.8 million levs a year earlier.
Atomenergoremont's main client is Bulgaria's sole nuclear power plant, Kozloduy NPP.
In August, the equipment maintenance operator announced that local investment firm EF Asset Management has built an overall stake of 5.8522% of its share capital.
Shares in Atomenergoremont last closed at 6.20 levs on the BaSE market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
