January 12 (SeeNews) - Norwegian telecommunications group Telenor said on Thursday it appointed Alexandra Reich as Head of Central and Eastern Europe Cluster, as part of changes to its organisational structure and executive management team, to take effect from March 1.
Telenor's Central and Eastern Europe cluster includes Bulgaria, Montenegro, Serbia and Hungary.
Telenor Group's business units will be organised into four clusters: Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe, Emerging Asia and Mature Asia, with each of them led by a cluster head, the company said in a statement.
“With the changes announced today, we are taking the next step and continue to evolve into a more global company, leveraging economies of scale and driving innovation across Telenor," Sigve Brekke, President and CEO of Telenor Group, said in the statement.
Alexandra Reich's most recent position is CEO of Telenor Hungary.
Michael Foley, who was appointed as CEO of Telenor Bulgaria as of August 1, 2016 will step down from Telenor’s Group executive management team, according to the statement.
