Albania’s OSSH awards two power line deals to local firms

February 15 (SeeNews) - Albania’s power grid operator OSSH said on Thursday it awarded contracts totalling 130 million leks ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro) for the construction of two electricity lines to two local companies.

Power solutions provider Shansi Invest was awarded a 71.4 million leks deal the construction of two new feeders to supply the seaport in the southwestern city of Vlora, OSSH said in a statement announcing the winners in the tender.

A consortium comprising engineering firms Caushi M and KMK won a 50.3 million leks contract for the transition of overhead wires to underground cables for five electricity cabinets in Tirana.
