October 29 (SeeNews) - Chinese company Yanfeng Automotive Interiors aims to increase the number of employees at its factory in Kragujevac, central Serbia, to a total of 800 by the end of 2023, the Kragujevac city government said.
Yanfeng invested a total of 40 million euro ($46.9 million) in the construction of the Kragujevac factory, which was opened in November 2019, and currently has a workforce of 230 employees, the Kragujevac city government said in a statement on Wednesday.

The factory has a footprint of 25,000 square metres and is located in the Sumadija free trade zone, the Kragujevac city government said.
Yanfeng has about 110 manufacturing plants and technical centres in 20 countries and more than 33,000 employees globally, according to data from its website.
