The investment proposal comprises the installation of up to 23 wind turbines together with a substation in 21 land plots located in the villages of Slaveevo, Pchelino and Odartsi in the Dobrich region, wpd Bulgaria said in a notice published on its website on Thursday.
The direct investor is Varna-based Vyataren Park Izgrev, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of wpd Europe and was established in December, according to the Bulgarian commercial register.
No further details were provided in wpd Bulgaria's notice.
Germany's wpd, which has been active in Bulgaria since 2007, plans to invest in two wind park projects with a combined capacity of 75-100 MW near Bulgaria's coastal town of Balchik, Sofia-based media reported in March.
