Vermilion starts trial production at two Croatian gas fields
Vermilion Zagreb Exploration has launched a trial production of gas on the fields Berak and Ceric in eastern Croatia, the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency said July 10, 2024.

Daily production of gas from these two fields is expected at between 400,000 and 500,000 cubic metres, which equals some 20% of the daily production of gas in Croatia, the agency said in a press release. The two fields are located within the SAVA-10 block in Vukovar-Srijem county.

Vermilion continues to prospect for hydrocarbons in Croatia and positive results are also expected on the SAVA-07 block near Kutina, the agency added.

Vermillion received a licence for onshore oil and gas exploration in Croatia in June 2016.
