BUCHAREST (Romania), June 11 (SeeNews) - U.S. family fun centers chain CEC Entertainment said that its brand Chuck E. Cheese has signed a franchise development agreement with EWAS Management Solutions to open locations in Romania.
The agreement marks Chuck E. Cheese's entry on the European Union market, CEC Entertainment said in a press release on Thursday.
"Chuck E. Cheese is well positioned for a strong recovery post-pandemic and international development is a key pillar for the Company's long-term growth. Expanding into the EU is an exciting step for the brand (...)," COO and senior vice president of International Franchising for Chuck E. Cheese Arun Barnes said.
EWAS Management Solutions group is owned by Gabriel Teodorescu and his wife Anda Teodorescu, who also operate Deziclean, and are distributors for Gusto, according to the press release.
Chuck E. Cheese operates nearly 100 international locations across 17 regions. It is owned by CEC Entertainment, which also includes Peter Piper Pizza and, delivery only, Pasqually's Pizza & Wings brands.
