December 13 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's Uniprom, owner of KAP aluminium smelter, has proposed to state-controlled power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) [MNG:EPCG] to take over the production of primary aluminium at the smelter free of charge for a year starting January 1, 2022 in order to avoid the plant's closure, local media reported.
