February 2 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Romania in 2017 rose 10.4% on the year to 12 million in 2017, the country's statistical board, INS, said on Friday.
Tourists spent 26.9 million overnights in Romania in 2017, up 6.5% year-on-year, INS said in a statement.
In December alone, the number of tourists staying in Romania grew 10.5% on the year to 784,200, while overnights increased 7.1% to 1.59 million.
