The factory will have an annual production capacity of 280 million parts for the automotive, electronics, construction and medical technology industries, the city government said in a press release on Tuesday.

The 7,200 square metre factory currently has 25 employees, with a view to increasing the headcount to 60 by the end of 2023.

Financial details of the Etampa's investment in Krusevac were not disclosed.

In November 2021, when the local government announced the planned construction of the factory, it said that the investment will total 2 million euro ($2.2 million).

The company produces vehicle brake and safety systems and electric motor components, as well as tools used in medical technology, household appliances or lifestyle products such as toothbrushes, shavers or furniture fittings.
