LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 18 (SeeNews) – The benchmark index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the SBITOP, ended lower on Monday, bourse data indicated. The SBITOP, which tracks the most liquid and highly capitalised stocks on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, LJSE, declined by 0.58% to 666.25 points after a 0.31% increase on Friday. Six out of seven blue chips of the LJSE closed down, while one jumped. Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] was the only SBITOP advancer, adding 0.78% to 23.885 euro. Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] led the SBITOP decliners falling 1.56% to 246.1 euro. Total daily turnover on the LJSE stood at 1.2 million euro, down from 1.6 million euro on Friday.
