November 18 (SeeNews) - Belgrade-based Windflow East plans to build a 180 MW wind park near Petrovac na Mlavi, in eastern Serbia, the local authorities said.
The park will comprise 30 generators of 6.2 MW each, according to project documents posted on the Vranje municipality website on Thursday.
The park will cover a total area of 1.5 hectares.
According to the Serbian business registry, Windflow East is co-owned by American-based SunFlow Holding, which owns 70% of its capital, and Turkish company Vulcanus Enerji Yatirim Anonim Sirketi, which holds the remainder.
It was founded in May 2021 with a capital of 1 million dinars ($8,900/8,500 euro).
So far, eight wind farms with a total capacity of 398 MW have been connected to Serbia's power grid, according to data of the Association Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia.
