March 4 (SeeNews) - Coal production at Serbia's Radljevo open-pit mine, which is set to absorb 140-200 million euro ($193-$275 million) in investments, should start in the 2018-2019 period, energy minister Zorana Mihajlovic said on Tuesday. Initial output is seen at around 2.0 million tonnes a year with plans to eventually raise it to 7.5 million tonnes, Mihajlovic said in a statement issued after she toured the Kolubara mining basin where Radljevo is located.
