BELGRADE (Serbia), August 9 (SeeNews) – Serbian real estate developer MPC Properties will invest over 100 million euro ($116.0 million) in a new shopping centre in Belgrade, scheduled to open in early 2020, the company told SeeNews on Thursday.
MPC will build a new and modern shopping centre with over 43,000 square metres of sales space and a total area of 130,000 sq m in Serbia's capital, the company said in an e-mailed response to a SeeNews enquiry.
"This investment will consolidate the expertise and rich experience the company has and will also capture the latest global trends in the retail industry", MPC noted.
The building was designed by international architectural bureau Chapman Taylor of Dusseldorf, the company added.
MPC Properties already operates the Usce Shopping Center in Belgrade which has an area of about 47,000 square metres and 1,250 parking places on two underground levels.
