August 23 (SeeNews) - The Serbian government said on Wednesday that it signed an agreement with Montenegro to shortly introduce an integrated system of electronic toll collection (ETC) between the two countries.
The system will make it possible to pay road tolls in Montenegro with the Serbian ETC tag and vice versa, the Serbian government said in a press release.
Last month, Serbia launched an integrated system for electronic toll collection (ETC) with North Macedonia and signed an agreement with Croatia to introduce an integrated system of electronic toll collection (ETC) between the two countries in September.
Serbia plans to sign similar agreements with Greece and Bosnia in the near future, infrastructure minister Goran Vesic said earlier.
