Sameday seeks Bulgarian antitrust nod to buy Furgefutar.hu

June 18 (SeeNews) - Romanian parcel delivery group Sameday, which also operates in Hungary and Bulgaria, has filed for approval by the Bulgarian competition authority for its planned acquisition of Hungarian logistics firm Furgefutar.hu, the regulator said on Tuesday.

Interested third parties can submit comments on the transaction in the next seven days, the Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) said in a statement, without disclosing further details about the deal.

Bucharest-based Delivery Solutions, operating under the Sameday brand, specialises in the retail of non-food products and fashion and second-hand items, as well as food delivery, marketing intermediation and parcel delivery services.

Furgefutar.hu Szolgaltato Kft., founded in 2010 and based in Budapest, specialises in cross-border and e-commerce deliveries, operating a delivery platform for small and medium-sized enterprises and consumers, along with fulfilment and logistics services.
