December 29 (SeeNews) - Romania's Electrica Furnizare, a subsidiary of Electrica Group [BSE:EL], has delivered photovoltaic (PV) projects worth about 13 million euro ($13.8 million) to partners, consolidating its position on the PV market, it said on Thursday.
The company has installed 33 solar power plants this year, with a total capacity of 14,030 MWp, Electrica Furnizare said in a press release.
The solar plants installed by Electrica Furnizare have an output of approximately 19,221 MWh per year, helping to reduce CO2 emissions by some 4,175 tonnes.
Electrica Furnizare supplies electricity to 18 counties across Romania, serving some 3.2 million customers.
Electrica Group's shares traded flat at 8.1 lei as at 0957 CET on Thursday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
