The new stage of production involves a first batch of 15 units with automatic transmission and low cabin, the company said in a press release.

"The biggest challenges are posed by the delivery times for parts within our supply chains, as well as those for raw materials, when referring to the Stamer superstructures we are currently manufacturing," said Florin Crisan, General Director of ATP Trucks.

ATP Trucks is the manufacturing branch of the ATP Group, which was founded in 1995. The company released its first line of products, Truston, in 2019.

ATP group also includes buses manufacturer ATP Bus, auto dealership ATP Motors, construction machinery and equipment company Hefton, semi-trailers and superstructures manufacturer Stamer and ATP Automotive, active in the production and distribution of truck parts.

Based on data supplied by the finance ministry, ATP Trucks Automobile recorded a net profit of 442,000 lei ($95,700/89,300 euro) in 2021, an increase over the previous year’s 239,000 lei. Its net turnover in 2021 was 39.1 million lei, more than the 13.1 million lei it recorded in 2020.
