April 3 (SeeNews) - The Romanian government on Friday adopted an emergency decree to temporarily reduce the excise duty on standard diesel and introduce a “solidarity tax” on extraordinary profits of oil producers and sellers, as part of a broader package aimed at shielding the economy and consumers from rising fuel prices amid the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.
