BELGRADE (Serbia), August 9 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) recorded a net profit of 33.2 million euro ($38.4 million) from operations in Serbia in the first half of 2018, up 34.7% on the year, it said on Thursday.
Raiffeisenbank Serbia generated an operating income of 74.5 million euro in the first six months, an increase of 15.8% compared with the like period last year, RBI said in its January-June financial report.
Net fee and commission income from operations in Serbia rose by 12.5% to 22.1 million euro, while net interest income increased by 4.6% to 41.6 million euro.
The lender's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Serbia fell to 3.7% at the end of June, from 8.0% a year earlier.
The total assets of Raiffeisenbank in Serbia rose by 6.1% year-on-year to 2.4 billion euro at the end of June.

RBI's Serbian unit had 758,299 customers at end-June, up 5.4% year-on-year, and operated in 89 business outlets, versus 87 a year earlier.
