SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 10 (SeeNews) – Germany's lighting devices manufacturer Osram said on Tuesday it has invested 50 million levs ($30.1 million/25.6 million euro) in its first factory in Bulgaria.
The factory, located near Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv, will be officially opened on October 19, Osram said in a statement.
The new production facility will create over 900 jobs.
Munich-based Osram offers innovative and sustainable lighting solutions. The company’s product portfolio ranges from modules, LED lamps and luminaires to light management systems and smart lighting products.
