February 26 (SeeNews) - Oman-based Al Badi Investment Group is considering investing 600 million euro ($740.8 million) in projects in Bosnia's two entities, the Serb Republic and the Federation, the Serb Republic's energy ministry said.
The group is interested in projects in the energy sector and food production as wee as the potential for development of tourism, the energy ministry said on Friday following a meeting with Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Badi, chairman of Al-Badi Investment Group.
"Our Sultanate is known for its tolerance, we do not differentiate between people and we want to bring progress for everyone," Sheikh Al Badi is quoted saying.
He added that the company wants to engage the domestic economy as much as possible during the implementation of future projects.
Al-Badi comprises several companies that are operating in various fields such as construction, manufacturing, trade, industry, media and tourism.
