Interested third parties can submit comments on the transaction in the next seven days, the Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) said in a statement, without disclosing further details about the deal.

Varna-based Navigation Maritime Bulgare is part of local group Advance Properties, which operates in sectors including pharmaceuticals, commercial shipping and towing services, port operations, ship supply, real estate, electricity generation and battery electric vehicles manufacturing.

Photovoltaic Power Plant-Lovech, founded in 2023, specialises in the construction and operation of solar photovoltaic plants for the production, purchase, sale and trade of electricity. Its equity capital of 167.8 million levs ($92.8 million/85.8 million euro) is wholly owned by local company Bul Invest Group 2009, commercial register data show.
