In Romania, Jumbo's sales added 17% year-on-year in June and 14% in the first six months of this year.

For the first half of 2023, the Jumbo group booked a 20% yearly increase in sales, with sales in Bulgaria and Romania both leaping 17%, according to an earlier statement.

This year, the company plans to open a new hyperstore in Cyprus's Nicosia and one in Bucharest, Romania. Additionally, a second store in Israel is expected to open in August, while the opening of a hyperstore in Romania's Timisoara has been postponed until the first quarter of 2025.
