October 7 (SeeNews) - Italian group Humangest has acquired Romanian human resources company IHM Total Consult for an undisclosed sum, the group's Romanian subsidiary said.
The deal was approved by the Romanian anti-trust body earlier this year, Humangest Group Romania said in a press release on Friday.

"This acquisition will help us strengthen our market positioning and expertise in the field of temporary work and recruitment. Given our mission to provide our clients with a range of highest quality solutions in the field of human resources, we believe that the team we found in the IHM will play a vital role in achieving this goal," Humangest Group CEO Gianluca Zelli said.
IHM Total Consult was founded in 2004 with offices in Timisoara and Arad, western Romania where it employs 2,000. The company posted a 15% increase in turnover last year to 106 million lei ($25 million/22 million euro).
Humangest entered Romania in 2007 and currently employs 400. The group's main lines of business are temporary work, recruitment and selection services, training, payroll services, logistics outsourcing and property management.
