October 24 (SeeNews) - Italian automotive textiles supplier Aunde opened a production plant in the southern Serbian city of Leskovac, Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday.
A total of 300 workers are employed at the plant with a further 260 expected to be hired next year, Vucic said, as seen in a YouTube video posted by Tanjug news agency.

The value of the investment was not disclosed.
The new plant, spreading on an area of 13,000 square meters, is the company's second in Serbia. It will manufacture car seat covers for the Fiat models manufactured in Kragujevac, a city located some 40 kilometres from Jagodina where Aunde opened a 3.0 million euro ($3.2 million) plant in 2014.
The Aunde Group, with its brands Aunde, Isringhausen and Esteban, operates more than 100 plants in 27 countries.
